Mr. King has more than 13 years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development and real estate advisory experience. Prior to joining Silver Portal Capital, Mr. King was a Principal with Paloma Advisors, a boutique real estate consulting firm that provides sophisticated financial and strategic advisory services to real estate companies, private investment firms, real estate developers and other owners and operators of real estate across a variety of asset types. Mr. King has also held positions with a number of investment banking and private equity firms, including The Latin America Enterprise Fund, which manages two funds totaling $420 million that target private equity investments in Latin America-based companies. Previously, Mr. King was with Salomon Brothers, where he was responsible for analyzing and assisting with the execution of mergers and acquisitions across a wide range of industries.

Mr. King graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and with highest distinction honors in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. King also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. King is an SEC / FINRA Registered Representative (Series 7 and 63).
