Jon K. Haahr
Mr. Haahr is the Founder of Silver Portal Capital and a Senior Managing Principal with over 25 years of experience in the capital markets and a track record that exhibits a depth of investment banking, real estate advising, and capital raising expertise for both private and public companies.  He has been managing underwriter, placement agent and advisor in over $17 billion of equity, debt and financial advisory transactions for the real estate industry from 1992 to the present, involving more than 140 transactions.  Mr. Haahr was Co-Head and Managing Director of Real Estate Investment Banking for Wachovia Securities from 1999-2001, and founded and ran the Real Estate and Lodging Group at EVEREN Securities (successor firm to Kemper Securities), from 1991 until joining Wachovia.  Mr. Haahr received his MBA in Finance from the Henry B. Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  He is a past and present member of multiple corporate boards, currently serving as a director of Clarion Partners Property Trust and Reven Housing REIT, and previously served as Trustee of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin.

Jean-Louis Guinchard
Mr. Guinchard is a Senior Managing Principal with over 25 years of investment banking, merchant banking and private equity experience, having advised many corporate and ultra high-net-worth clients throughout the US, Europe and Latin America. He was a founding partner of O&A Real Estate Development Partners, a private equity real estate investment fund and operating company sponsored by O’Connor Capital Partners and the Ahumada family.  Mr. Guinchard also served as Co-Head of the Latin America Corporate, Investment and Merchant Banking business and funds at Banc of America Securities, managing $18 billion in assets and over 800 people in eight countries and started the Family Wealth Advisor platform at Bank of America for Southern California and Latin America. Mr. Guinchard started his career at Salomon Brothers where he worked in Corporate Finance/M&A in the US and Latin America. Mr. Guinchard has a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.B.A. & B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Guinchard was a member of the YPO and served on various corporate and civic boards.

T.K. Frantz
Mr. Frantz is a Managing Director at Silver Portal Capital with over 15 years of financial industry and real estate experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was a member of the Real Estate Transactions group for the New York City Economic Development Corporation where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing real estate acquisitions. Before then, he was a Managing Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Mission Realty Advisors where, in addition to over-seeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, he also advised institutional real estate operators on strategic capital raising efforts to support their growth operations. Prior to that, Mr. Frantz was a member of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s real estate investment banking group where he was active in IPO, M&A and joint venture transactions, as well as debt and equity financings, and fairness opinions. He received a BA from Colgate University and an MBA in finance from Indiana University, where he earned the school’s prestigious Legacy Award. Mr. Frantz holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is FINRA series 7, 24 and 63 licensed.

Jon K. Haahr Jr.
Mr. Haahr is an Associate at Silver Portal Capital with previous experience in commercial real estate.  He interned as an analyst for RedHill Realty Investors and Westcore Properties, private real estate investment firms that specialize in raising institutional capital and acquiring multi-family and office/industrial assets.  Mr. Haahr has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University as well as minors in Spanish and Science and Technology Studies.
