Jon K. Haahr
Mr. Haahr is the Founder of Silver Portal Capital and a Senior Managing Principal with over 25 years of experience in the capital markets and a track record that exhibits a depth of investment banking, real estate advising, and capital raising expertise for both private and public companies.  He has been managing underwriter, placement agent and advisor in over $20 billion of equity, debt and financial advisory transactions for the real estate industry from 1992 to the present, involving more than 140 transactions.  Mr. Haahr was Co-Head and Managing Director of Real Estate Investment Banking for Wachovia Securities from 1999-2001, and founded and ran the Real Estate and Lodging Group at EVEREN Securities (successor firm to Kemper Securities), from 1991 until joining Wachovia.  Mr. Haahr received his MBA in Finance from the Henry B. Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  He is a past and present member of multiple corporate boards, currently serving as a director of Clarion Partners Property Trust and Reven Housing REIT, and previously served as Trustee of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin.

T.K. Frantz
Mr. Frantz is a Managing Director at Silver Portal Capital with over 20 years of real estate and capital markets experience.  Most recently, he was a member of the Real Estate Transactions group for the New York City Economic Development Corporation where he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing real estate acquisitions on behalf of the City.  Prior to that, Mr. Frantz was a Managing Principal & COO for boutique real estate investment bank Mission Realty Advisors where, he provided strategic advisory services to institutional real estate operators as well as customized real investment solutions for institutional investors, registered investment advisors and family offices.  Before then, he was a member of the global real estate investment banking team of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was active in IPO, M&A and joint venture transactions, as well as debt and equity financings, and fairness opinions.  Mr. Frantz received his BA from Colgate University and an MBA in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned the school’s prestigious Legacy Award, which recognizes one student each year for contributions in and out of the classroom.  Mr. Frantz holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is FINRA series 7, 24 and 63 licensed.

Gregory Feldman
Mr. Feldman is a Director – Capital Markets at Silver Portal Capital with 20 years of capital markets experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was Vice President of Capital Markets for New York-based FBN Securities where he developed and managed institutional investor accounts. Prior to that, Mr. Feldman was responsible for business development and client management for institutional trading and equity research firms, Capstone Investments and Caris & Company.  Mr. Feldman began his capital markets career with investment bank Avondale Partners, where he distributed firm research and raised over $100M of equity capital for investment banking clients. Mr. Feldman received a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Emory University.   Mr. Feldman holds a California real estate sales license and is FINRA series 7, 63 and 65 licensed.

John Bishop
Mr. Bishop is a Director – Capital Markets at Silver Portal Capital with over 35 years of sales and capital markets experience.  In 2018, he returned to Silver Portal after two years at Colorado Financial Services where he focused on educating financial professionals about the unique benefits a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) provides when used as replacement real estate in a 1031 “Like Kind” Exchange.   The majority of Mr. Bishop’s career was spent as Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales for CNL Institutional Advisors where he was instrumental in growing the firm’s institutional real estate business.  Mr. Bishop rejoined Silver Portal to expand the firm’s growing 1031 Exchange / DST business with a specific focus on philanthropy – using a unique strategy he developed which enables charities and non-profits to establish a more stable and sustainable approach to fund raising.  Mr. Bishop is a 1965 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.  He served with the Third Marine Division in Vietnam and later in Okinawa, Japan.

Jon K. Haahr Jr.
Mr. Haahr is a Vice President at Silver Portal Capital with over 7 years of investment banking and commercial real estate experience.  He is responsible for interfacing with clients and leading Silver Portal’s due diligence and underwriting/modeling efforts.  Prior to Silver Portal, he interned as an analyst for RedHill Realty Investors and Westcore Properties, private real estate investment firms that specialize in raising institutional capital and acquiring multi-family and office/industrial assets.  Mr. Haahr has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University as well as minors in Spanish and Science and Technology Studies.
